    Stitch Fix #7 Review – October 2015

    Stitch Fix

I actually skipped a September box because I wanted to save money and enjoy a few Fall boxes, since that is my favorite season and I love sweaters. I had the same stylist, Brookelyn, that I have had for the last few boxes.

Mavi Folwell Henley Knit Top – $48 [KEEP]

I asked for items that were great for Fall, and this is exactly what I had in mind!

This shirt is great alone or with layers. It is sooo comfortable.

Skies are Blue Lusy Embroidered Detail Knit Top – $54 [Return]

My stylish knows that navy is my go to color, so she included this shirt. I love the 3/4 sleeves but that pattern is not my taste.

      Stitch Fix #6 Review – August 2015

      Stitch Fix Patterns

For this box, I requested tops that I could dress up or dress down. I had the same stylist, Brookelyn, that I have had for the last few boxes.

41Hawthorn Edwin Scarf Print Top – $58 [Return]

I absolutely love the cut of this top and it fit perfectly. It would look great under a blazer. However, I am not keen on this pattern, so I returned it.

Daniel Rainn Anders Heart Print Split Neck Blouse – $68 [Keep]

This was my favorite piece in this month’s Stitch Fix. Blue is just my color. It is pretty sheer, but comes with a built in tank! I love that! It is light and airy, perfect for hot summer days.

        Stitch Fix #5 Review – July 2015

        Stitch Fix Patterns

I kept EVERYTHING in my last Stitch Fix so I requested the same stylist, Brookelyn, and asked her to style me in some great pieces for weddings and bridal parties. Tis the season for weddings!

Skies Are Blue Moraga Cut Out Detail Blouse – $48 [Keep]

I am obsessed with this shirt. I was just out shopping with my mom and she was telling me I need to wear more of a certain color. THIS is the color! I love the detail. The arm holes are big, and I know that bothers some people so I thought I would mention it. However, they are not too low and my bra doesn’t show.

Eight Sixty Kip Dress – $64 [Return]

This dress could be cute with some accessorizing, but it did not fit me in the hips. The pattern doesn’t thrill me but I love the colors.

For some reason I really like the zipper in the back.

          Stitch Fix #4 Review – June 2015

          Stitch Fix #4 Review – June 2015

          Stitch Fix Patterns

I loved my last Stitch Fix so much that I requested the same stylist, Brookelyn, and asked her to hook me up with pieces I could wear to the many country concerts I’m going to this summer. I just saw Luke Bryan at Mile High and it was an amazing concert! I have at least 6 more concerts that I will be attending so I was really looking forward to this box. Boy, did Brookelyn ever deliver! This is only my 4th Stitch Fix and I kept EVERYTHING! I was wondering when it would happen and this was it.

41Hawthorn Dita Sleeveless Ponte Dress – $68 [Keep]

I am obsessed with this dress. Navy is my go-to color and I love that it cinches my waist in exactly the right spot. It is a little bit thicker material, so I can wear this into the fall season. I prefer thicker material even in summer because I hate dealing with see-through fabric. All I can think right now is that I can’t wait until my next concert so I can pair this with my white jean jacket and some boots!

          41Hawthorn Dita Sleeveless Ponte Dress

My favorite parts are the details on the sleeves and waist. Plain but pretty. I can even wear this dress to work. Very versatile!

Bay to Baubles Kalea Double Bar Necklace – $28 [Keep]

I am still undecided about this necklace, but because of the 25% discount if you keep all five items, it was cheaper for me to keep it. I do like that it appears double-sided. One side looks like pounded metal and the other looks like scratched metal.

41Hawthorn Moni Abstract Chevron Stud Detail Blouse – $58 [Return]

I pinned this shirt on my Pinterest style board, so I was very pleased to see it! Strangely, it didn’t fit. It is almost the exact same style as another shirt in this box, but it was tight in the arms and across the chest. So I had to return it.

Pixley Joan Geo Print Pencil Skirt – $64 [Keep]

My stylist admitted she was “mixing things up” and being daring in sending me this skirt. I generally don’t gravitate towards loud prints. There is a definitely a lot going on with this skirt. But somehow it works, because I love it. This is why I love Stitch Fix. Because I pay for the service, I make sure I try on every item I receive. If I saw this in a store, I wouldn’t look twice at it. But I tried it on and it looked great on me! I also love this skirt because it isn’t stretchy. Stretchy materials tend to cling to my wide hips and make me look bigger. The length is perfect too.

Loveappella Evie Draw String Funnel Neck Sweatshirt – $64 [Keep]

Your stylists really do pay attention to your Pinterest boards, because I pinned this sweatshirt in a different color from Living in Yellow. And now it’s in my closet…almost. When I held up the sweatshirt, I noticed two ripped seams. While repairable, if I’m paying for a new item, I want a new item that isn’t damaged. Customer service is AMAZING and got back to me on a Saturday! They said that there was one available for exchange. So I paid for this, but am sending it back for an exchange.

Kensie Rebekah Contrast Detail Blazer – $88 [Return]

I already regret returning this. I agonized over this one all the way to the post office. I did ask for a blazer in my notes to my stylist and they did an amazing job answering my request. Yes, I love this blazer. It is dark navy and not exactly full length sleeves. They can be rolled up and the polka dot detail is so cute. But if I’m going to spend $88 on a blazer, it is going to be on a full length sleeve, black blazer. If I had the budget, I’d buy this in a heartbeat. Maybe I will ask for it specifically again when I make some extra cash.

Stitch Fix #2 - Kensie Rebekah Contrast Detail Blazer

Sweet Rain Shina Button-Down Blouse – $38 [Keep]

This is my favorite piece in the whole box. I was surprised it was tight in the bust area and nervous that I would not be able to exchange it. I think I got lucky that they had it in a larger size and I will be exchanging this as well. I can’t wait to wear this to work! The price is on point too. The color was different than what I was expecting when I read the styling card. It looks red on the card, but it’s actually pink, which makes me so happy!

*Update – it has been brought to my attention that this shirt was available on Modcloth under a different name for $29.99. It looks like it is sold out now.

Laila Jayde Bowie Solid Dolman Sleeve Top – $58 [KEEP]

I’M IN LOVE! Right now my stomach is my problem area and I love wearing loose shirts and sweaters. This sweater is light enough that I can wear it during the slightly cool days of Spring. I am dying for this color. This piece is a hit over and over again.

                20150315_160334(0)

I asked for cute casual clothes, because all I really have are t-shirts. I can dress this up for work or wear with jeans for a casual yet “put together” look.

Octavia Henry Birds on Branch Infinity Scarf – $28 [KEEP]

I don’t normally go for prints of animals, but for some reason this scarf appealed to me. The little birds are so cute. I think if it was any other animal, I would have returned it.
